Dear mother

Aug.3,1933..ang bday sa akong inahan. Kon buhi pa sya 74 anyos na unta sya karon.

Sa lawasnon wala na sya apan sa kasingkasing gapabilin diri sa akong dughan walay adlaw nga sipyat., walay minuto nga makalampas sa di paghunahuna nako kaniya..bisan pa sa 3 na katuig nga nilabay sukad sya nipahuway ning nagsalimoang nga kalibutan.

It's been a while

Sorry its been a while since I wrote something here. Am an impulsive woman and I am quiet busy with something else...this is still active as you can see.

Midsummer

here I am ...missed to share about the midsummer celebration here but I am not interested to write about it, for us is not a big thing though. Summer is well celebrated each day everyday not only midsummertime.

A bit of my vacation

After all the preparation and student party was to escape from home for a while. So I decided to take a three days driving to Smålands small roads, to the woods, lakes down to Mönsterås skärgård.
We took this trip just easily without stress, independent of time without looking to our watch.

The driving was not perfect as we used to have. Somewhere in Osby the campingcar started to shake so we looked for a small road to stop and check what happened. Steinar started checking the tire and found nothing wrong., we continued driving a bit then bing bang bong the left back tire exploded! it was not even a good place to change tire huh! 80% of the motorist just kept their speed at 90km/h "hänsynslös"

Keeping up the mood we continued but first we searched for a tireshop, feel safer with reserve tire with us of course.

....we stopped and parked along the lake in Lammhult where we overnight. I did not know that the sun sets around 23:00hrs, later than in Skåne.

....another day comes and we continue driving on the way to Rottne where Thelma lives and wanted to visit. In the middle of the day we were in Rottne but Thelma was still at work so we stopped at the "gravplats" in Ekebacken for two hours it was a great and exclusive overlooking view just for us ha?
....still we had few hours till Thelma finished her work so I suggested to drive to the city of Växjö and wanted to surprise Shirley for a short hi, hi, visit. We went to the library where the turistinformation located and search for her company name as I did not remember the address ...tick tack....we found her. Later on we proceeded to Thelma and Laszlo's bit of paradise......thanks for the hospitality Nagy family.

month of June is Fantastic!!

Danny's graduation

Been idle writing in my blogg for quite long time. And now I think it is the time to download or upload what I have experienced this two first weeks of this month.

The first week, I was quite busy preparing for the party which my son is a "student". I do not know why they call student here in Sweden when at home in the Philippines they call it "Graduate".

Memories

I dream a lot about my mother last night and I miss her terribly. Here I found an old picture we took the first time she visited Sweden in 1991. While watching this picture here it helps me ease the pain. I'm in sentimental mood today. June 20 is my moms 3rd death anniversary.

Early summer visit

Alice in Wonderland visited Sweden.

Alice is a family friend and visited us here in Sweden.
Alice and her husband Bruce own Sunraysia Apartment in Pusok, Mactan where we rented and stayed there for one year sometimes in the year 2002.
